Christ Church Episcopal Preschool educates young children, creates community among school, families, and church, and honors and nurtures children in the Episcopal tradition. We welcome children aged two to five in small classes where all are affirmed as children of God and are inspired and encouraged to become their best selves—socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually.

2 Great Reasons for throwing a little extra
in those shopping carts and cleaning out those pantries!

Thanksgiving Baskets Project

Donations for Thanksgiving baskets- Please leave your donation in the designated box outside of your
child’s classroom by Friday, November 15. ONLY the following items are needed (NO glass): canned
corn, canned peas, canned green beans, canned yams, canned cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, instant
potato flakes, packaged gravy, and dessert mix.

Don’t Be a Chicken! Sponsor a Turkey!

For $15 (or more!), you can sponsor a turkey for one of the families receiving a basket through this
project. Please leave cash or check (made payable to Christ Church; write “turkey” in memo) with Denise
Harris in the preschool office.

Interfaith Potluck Supper on Sunday, November 17 from 4:30 to 6:30pm at Congregation Beth
Emeth, 300 W. Lea Blvd, Wilmington

Christ Church, Congregation Beth Emeth, and Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church join forces to help those in
need. Come to a family event where kids can help assemble the Thanksgiving baskets, followed by a
potluck supper. Please bring enough to share: main dish, salad, side dish, or dessert. Out of respect for
the dietary guidelines of our partners, potluck dishes should not contain shellfish, pork products, or
combine dairy products with meat.

Food Drive for the Food Bank of Delaware
