We were so sad to learn this summer that our beloved "cooker lady," Sandi Lee, would not be returning to us in the fall. She has assumed some family responsibilities that do not allow her the time to continue in CCEP's kitchen. Sandi and her former partner, Karen Slaugh, developed the wonderful traditions that made our food program the most talked about program in town! They taught our children to learn to eat all kinds of fruits and vegetables, to enjoy whole grains, and to be lovers of low-fat, low-sugar food. They served food beautifully on the platter and enjoyed making lunches appealing to young children in every way. Karen Slaugh departed last year and now we bid farewell to Sandi, marking the end of an era in CCEP's kitchen. We are grateful for all that Sandi has done for us so lovingly in the past seven years. We wish her the very best as she moves to a new period of her life.
Sandi's daughter, Kathryn, who worked with her for the past year has moved on to new career goals in acting, modeling, and singing. We will be eagerly following her successes! Thank you, Kat, for the year you spent with us.
Our new cooker ladies are Xannie Morris and Carol Simon. Please stop by the kitchen to say hi and to welcome them to the CCEP family.
