Christ Church Episcopal Preschool educates young children, creates community among school, families, and church, and honors and nurtures children in the Episcopal tradition. We welcome children aged two to five in small classes where all are affirmed as children of God and are inspired and encouraged to become their best selves—socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually.

Supporting Parents

We understand that many parents of young children are juggling work and home commitments.

We believe we can help you most by offering plenty of choices and lots of flexibility. You know what your family needs; we’ll do our best to match our services to your need.

Early Care

We offer early care beginning at 7:30 AM in our community room where children of all ages gather to play.

Many parents choose to sign up for daily early care and it becomes part of their child’s regular school day. Others realize they need the service at the last minute and they drop their child off without notice. Either situation is fine with us. We’ll be there when you need us.

After Care

After care begins at 3:30 and ends at 5:30 and is staffed everyday with two teachers. Parents are welcome to pick their children up from after care at any time.

The teachers who run our after care program love this cozy time with the children. It’s more informal than the school day and the mixed ages create a rich dynamic of caring for each other.

Our after care program is an opportunity for the children to be outside again and to do special crafts or projects. This past fall in addition to playing outside and indoor free choice time, the children made caramel apples, gingerbread houses, and trees made out of pretzels and grapes. You can see that “cooking” projects are a perennial favorite!

We will do our best to accommodate last minute requests for after care, but we do encourage you to sign up for a regular schedule as it often reaches capacity.

Holiday Camp

Holiday camp covers many of the days that schools are typically closed. Our holiday camp may cover vacation days, such as MLK day, President’s Day and some of spring break.

Summer Camp

Summer camp is offered each summer and is open to any child who has been part of our program or is at least 2 years old. Potty training is not expected. For more information about summer camp, please click here.
