Christ Church Episcopal Preschool educates young children, creates community among school, families, and church, and honors and nurtures children in the Episcopal tradition. We welcome children aged two to five in small classes where all are affirmed as children of God and are inspired and encouraged to become their best selves—socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually.

Strategic Plan 2026–2030 Small Hands, Big Futures – Celebrating 20+ Years Together

We are proud to share our 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, a roadmap that honors our past and guides our school’s future with clarity, purpose, and faith.

Beginning in 2021, under the leadership of the Rector, the Head of School, Trustees, and in collaboration with our community, CCEP engaged in a comprehensive strategic planning process. Input from parent, staff, and teacher focus groups, along with a 2024 parent climate survey, helped shape and clarify the goals for the school’s future.

We gratefully acknowledge the time, commitment, and shared vision of our faculty, parents, church community, and trustees, whose contributions were essential in developing this strategic plan.

Purpose

  • Clarifies our vision and mission, keeping teachers, staff, and families aligned around child development, family engagement, and community service.

  • Ensures financial sustainability, helping us plan responsibly for tuition, scholarships, programs, and long-term stability.

  • Strengthens program quality, supporting excellence in curriculum, teacher development, and learning environments.

  • Builds community trust, demonstrating strong leadership and careful stewardship of resources.

  • Guides thoughtful growth, allowing us to adapt to changing needs and plan for future improvements.

  • Supports fundraising efforts, showing donors and partners how their gifts make a meaningful impact.

  • Encourages collaboration, fostering shared ownership, pride, and commitment to our school’s success.

We look forward to sharing quarterly progress updates with you through the website and the school newsletter. Our community’s investment in and commitment to the future of our school are essential and deeply appreciated. Together, we are building a strong foundation for the next generation, because small hands truly do lead to big futures.

In faith,

Sheila Abio Head of School
